4worldlovers: The National Theatre sells tickets up to 6 months in advance. On 1 October at 9am we selling tickets for performances of Drama, Ballet, Opera and Laterna magika until the end of March 2024.

When purchasing online, you can get an e-ticket. You can pick up printed tickets in person at the box offices of the National Theatre.

While visiting The National Theatre and the New Stage you can use again the underground car park of the National Theatre.Information and a parking fee.

By their appearance, attire and behaviour, the audience is obliged to adhere to the accustomed practice expected from them when attending a theatre performance.

4worldlovers: Black Light Theatre Srnec (read "Srnets") is the first theatre of its kind in the world. The audience was first able to see the company in the summer 1961 at the Edinburgh International Festival. The success there was unprecedented.

Thus Jiří Srnec (*1931) managed to create an entirely original non-verbal theatre genre that, since the day of its foundation, enjoys success not only in Czech Republic but all over the world.

The company has already had more than 300 tours in 68 countries (e.g., China, Russia, USA (Las Vegas, New York), South America, Syria, Israel, Greece, Africa, Germany, Australia, France, Turkey, Thailand, Bolivia, Great Britain, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Monaco, South Korea, Norway, Sweden and many others), and attended 87 festivals.

The company’s performances were seen by more than 5 million spectators and the theatre also won countless international awards. In 2002 it was chosen to represent Czech culture during the NATO summit in Prague. In 2011,Jiří Srnec was awarded the Medal of Merit in the field of culture and art, in 2014 he was awarded the European cultural award Trebbia for creative activity, and in 2018 he received the special Thalia award for his "extraordinary contribution to the Czech theatre art".
